About the Position

Position Overview


We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology & Oncology Physician to join a well-established, collaborative cancer care team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered oncology and hematology care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.



Assignment Details




  • Position Type: Permanent




  • Schedule: Daytime shifts with flexibility based on clinic needs




  • Call Requirements: Minimal call, shared among a large provider group




  • Weekend Coverage: Minimal




  • Start Date: Flexible

Practice Setting




  • Outpatient-focused Hematology & Oncology practice




  • Disease-specific care model




  • Multidisciplinary collaboration with physicians, APPs, nurse navigators, and care managers




  • Advanced diagnostics, innovative therapies, and clinical research opportunities




  • EMR System: Epic





Key Responsibilities




  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma




  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans




  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure coordinated patient care




  • Participate in consultations, second opinions, and management of complex oncology cases




  • Utilize evidence-based practices and emerging therapies




  • Document and manage patient care within the Epic EMR system




  • Participate in clinical research and apply evolving treatment methodologies




  • Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and compassionate care





Team Structure




  • Collaborative group of physicians and advanced practice providers




  • Support from nurse navigators, care managers, and clinical support staff




  • Call coverage shared with multiple clinicians and oncology hospitalists

Requirements

Required Qualifications




  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology (within 5 years of residency if BE)




  • Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain




  • DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)




  • Clean malpractice and license history (strongly preferred)




  • NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days at time of presentation
